Reading is free for everyone. Network Supporters join the Discord and the community events, read members-only content, publish their own articles, projects and prompts, and share in the revenue the network earns.

* Published work goes out to members first. A superadmin reviews it before it appears on the public site. See how publishing works for what gets approved and how the revenue is split.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Create a free account with GitHub to browse the network, follow creators and topics, save items, and use the personalized feed and the new-tab extension. You add a card only when you upgrade to a paid plan.

What do I get as a Network Supporter?

There is one paid plan, and this is what it carries: post comments across the network; full Discord access; read members-only content and comment bodies; see the member-only Shares stream; and publish articles, projects and prompts, members first and public after editorial review. Editorial review means a superadmin reads the item before it goes public, and it covers articles, projects, and prompts only: a profile or a comment publishes without one. Network Supporters also share in the revenue program, which the revenue answer below explains.

What can I do with a free account?

Browse the network, the news feed, and public shares; follow creators, sources, and topics; save items and build collections; and use the personalized feed and the new-tab extension. Commenting, publishing, and the community come with the Network Supporter plan.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancel anytime and keep access through the end of your paid period. Anything you have published stays yours.

How does revenue share work?

When someone joins, the network looks at the content that brought them in and the content that closed the signup. The first earns its author 30%, the last earns 10%, and a fixed 5% pool is shared by the members who improved or discussed those items. Separately, if you bring someone in with your personal invite link, you earn a flat lifetime commission paid from the platform share, so it never reduces what content owners earn. All distributions pay out after a 90-day hold. The revenue model page carries the full breakdown, with the rates and a worked example.

Who runs GBTI?

It is a creator network. The whole site runs on a public Git repository. Members publish through pull requests and share in what the network earns.
