From the member
atwellpubLane 8 has released his Fall 2026 Mixtape, recorded live at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco and released through his This Never Happened label. The mix runs for roughly four hours and continues the seasonal mixtape series he has maintained alongside his albums, singles, and touring.
The published tracklist stretches beyond 50 selections and mixes established releases with remixes, mashups, and a large number of unreleased IDs. Artists appearing throughout the set include Bonobo, Robag Wruhme, Simian Mobile Disco, Mat Zo, Marsh, Jon Hopkins, Cioz, and Lane 8 himself.
The set also contains several unusual Beach Boys reinterpretations, including remixes of “Pet Sounds,” “Sloop John B,” and “That’s Not Me.” A number of unidentified tracks remain in the official tracklist, giving listeners material to follow beyond the initial release.
Unlike some earlier seasonal mixtapes presented strictly as studio mixes, the Fall 2026 edition preserves a live performance, including the pacing and progression of Lane 8’s Castro Theatre set.
