bomsnIn a small test, ChatGPT used our pages in 9 of 10 answers, but only fetched one page live while I was watching the server logs. Combined with Cloudflare’s bot data, that suggests ChatGPT may be relying more heavily on previously indexed content and less on fetching every source page in real time. OpenAI has not confirmed that change, and the sample is limited, but for publishers it makes crawler access and content freshness worth paying close attention to.
