Gigi D' Agostino, L' Amour Toujours, Kirche Lichtenstein/Sa. (organ/Orgel)
From the member
GBTI NetworkGigi D’Agostino’s “L’Amour Toujours” was released in 1999 and became one of the defining European dance tracks of its era. Its title translates roughly to “love always,” and beneath the electronic production is a simple, emotional melody that adapts surprisingly well to pipe organ.
This organ version was performed by Sven H. BPM at St. Laurentius Church in Lichtenstein, Saxony, Germany, in connection with a 2020 confirmation service. Played on the church’s historic Jehmlich pipe organ, the Eurodance melody takes on the character of a hymn, giving the song a much more solemn and reflective tone.
